Today we're going to take a look at the Americana stainless steel trailer wheel center cap with the center plug. This is designed to fit on wheels that have a pilot hole center of 4.88 inches up to 4.9 inches. This cap will create a nice finished look on your trailer by covering the wheel hub with the stainless steel center cap. Since it is stainless steel construction it's very durable and rust proof. It does include this center plug which is a chrome plastic. That can be put on there.
It also can be easily removed for easy hub maintenance. Some trailer you'll have easy lube axles. Easy lube axles will have the grease zerk fitting on the end of the spindle that you access with your grease gun so when your cap is on your wheels you want to be able to take the center out and access that zerk fitting to grease you axles. The center plug will snap right into the center of the cap just like that. When you do install this the center cap will cover that ugly axle hub that protrudes through your trailer wheel. Basically you'll just place the center wheel cap on the back of the wheel, push it through before you install the tire and wheel on your trailer.
It'll give you a nice finishing touch to give you a nice better looking trailer. What I'm going to do now is I happen to pull a wheel. It's a 16 inch. It is designed to fit 16 inch diameter 8 hole design wheels. I'm going to just stand back here so I can show you how we're going to install this. Basically what you do, again, it fits wheels that have a pilot diameter from 4.88 inches to 4.90 inches.
The pilot hole diameter is diameter of this hole right here. This one happens to have a 4.88 pilot hole diameter. What you'll do is take your cap. Notice there has a lip on it. What you'll do is go turn your wheel to the back of the wheel.
This is before you install it on your trailer. Just push your cap right through. Once you push it all the way through that lip will hold it into place. You'll see when you turn it around. You go and install the wheel and tire onto your trailer, put your lug nuts on, and it'll hold that center cap right into place. Again, you have this middle cap that you can pop right out to access if you have an easy lube axle. To remove it you just have to push it, take the wheel and tire off the trailer, push it right out the back and it comes right out. That should do it for the review on the Americana stainless steel trailer wheel center cap with the plug designed to fit 4.88 to 4.90 pilot hole centers.
EXCELLENT!!!
